These are pictures of a castle I visited in Afghanistan. It would have been used by traveling caravans as a place to stop for the night safe from banditry--for a fee of course. No one really knows how old this place is because pretty much no one in the district can read or write... no literacy, no history. Taken 4/30/2009.
Ladies and Gentlemen, loyal reader, I am back. Right before I left for Afghanistan, I got a remote and a tripod, so here are my first few experiments with night photography. Let me know what you think. I'll be posting regularly again, so if you are just stopping by, welcome back. These were taken 11/9/2008.
My blog is designed for the purpose of sharing my photos. I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT SLR camera with a 18-55mm lens which I have been experimenting with everywhere I go. Click to enlarge. Feel free to copy, share or print any of these pictures. Just don't claim them as your own. Be a gentleman.
